  • Join Our New Prayer Team

Join our new prayer team to help us pray for the requests of those in our church. You don't have to be a professional pray-er. We are simply looking for people who want to commit to spending regular time lifting up the needs in our church. Most of the praying will be done on your own as the requests come in and are distributed to the team. The team will be facilitated by Athena Drewes.

  • Can We Pray For You?

God loves it when we come to him in prayer. And in him is where we find hope and peace for all the burdens we carry. We want to be people who pray, and who pray for each other. Our Prayer Team would love to go to the Father on your behalf so please let us know what we can pray for you about. You can CLICK BELOW, email office@gracepreschurch.org, or fill out a card next to the Offering Box at the Welcome Center on Sunday mornings.

  • Join This Year's Pray For Me Campaign

Pray for Me is an exciting opportunity to pray for the next generation in our church. We will match those who sign up with a young person from our church to pray for them and their family for the year. This ministry connects older and younger generations in our church and is one of the ways we can pass our faith down.

Sign ups are going on now. You can email Pastor Steven at stevenb@gracepreschurch.org or go by the table this Sunday. Click below to watch a video that describes more of what it means to be a Pray for Me prayer champion [do not sign up on their website like the video says. Just sign up at church or by emailing Pastor Steven].

PEOPLE : For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.

CONFESSION OF FAITH

Heidelberg Catechism Q&A 1

Q. What is your only comfort in life and in death?

A. That I am not my own, but belong—body and soul, in life and in death—to my faithful Savior, Jesus Christ.

He has fully paid for all my sins with his precious blood, and has set me free from the tyranny of the devil. He also watches over me in such a way that not a hair can fall from my head without the will of my Father in heaven; in fact, all things must work together for my salvation.

Because I belong to him, Christ, by his Holy Spirit, assures me of eternal life and makes me wholeheartedly willing and ready from now on to live for him.

CONFESSION OF SIN

Lord God, we know that our lives are saturated with sin. The guilt of our transgressions is overwhelming. And yet, we know that if we repent of our failings and turn back to you, that you are a loving God who abundantly and relentlessly forgives. Therefore, we confess our need for your grace. We humbly rely on you for your grace in granting forgiveness. By the power of your Spirit, help us break the cycles of sin in our lives. Reaffirm to us your love for us, that we might respond with gratitude and obedience. We pray this in the gracious name of Jesus. Amen.

ASSURANCE OF PARDON

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgement but has passed from death to life. - John 5:24
