About Jacob's Learning
Ladder Preschool
Jacob's Learning Ladder is a
preschool sponsored by Grace Presbyterian church as a community service project. The
preschool is licensed by the State of Kansas, and is supervised by the Session of the
Church.
We provide opportunities for
your child to learn with others their own age in a Christian atmosphere.
A well-balanced curriculum is
presented to each child by a professional and well-trained staff. The curriculum includes
learning centers that develop growth in Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Language, Music, Math and
Cognitive skills, as well as Social skills in personal growth and group relations. A
different Bible Story is taught each month of the school year.
The preschool program is
self-supported through tuition and pre-registration fees. The Mission budget of Grace
Presbyterian Church also supports various programs within the preschool. The Preschool
Program year coincides with the Wichita Public School year. We look forward to providing
service to you and your child.
A Jacob's Learning Ladder Book
Bag is given to each child at the beginning of each school year.
About Jacob's Adventure
Club
Jacob's Learning Ladder
includes child care serving children age 12 months (and walking) to 5+ years on Monday
through Friday. The Jacob's Adventure Club is our answer to Latchkey. Latchkey and Day
care is available from 7:00 am to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This program will help
parents in need of child care all day and after morning and afternoon preschool classes.
This is a time for children to
attend organized activities supervised by qualified staff. The curriculum is intended to
enhance gross motor, dramatic play skills and a nutritional snack for each child.
