Family Worship
at Grace Presbyterian Church
Have you ever wanted to
attend a worship service where children and adults praise God
together while having fun and friendship learning how to better
serve our God?
We welcome you to join our new Family Worship Service at 9:30 a.m.
on Sunday morning. Our new service provides an opportunity for God's
family to worship Him by creating a celebration and worship
experience where children and adults of all ages participate. Here
you will find a celebration where kids are encouraged to actively
participate, play instruments, dance, and sing. Give them the
opportunity to learn about worship through the example of their
parent's, other adults and youth participants.
Come casual to our Family Worship Service! Here we sit together at
tables, while exploring traditional Christian worship with prayer,
scripture reading, song and a special lesson. Services may also
include drama presentations such as Jonah & the Whale and Christ in
Jerusalem (Palm Sunday). Services include a Family Activity time
with craft projects, stories, or games for worshippers to
participate in together.
Each Family Worship Service is geared to explore a central theme
drawn from the Bible. Participants explore the theme and adopt a
special "catch phrase" to help fully understand the teachings for
that week. Participants also receive a Family Challenge for the
coming week. The Family Challenge provides an opportunity for
worshippers to further explore the Sunday message and theme
throughout the week.
Hope to see you soon at our 9:30 a.m. Family Worship Service!
Cheerios and juice are welcome also.

SERVICES LET FAMILIES LEARN, WORSHIP TOGETHER
Drums, keyboard and guitar sounds rose inside the Great Room at
Grace Presbyterian Church. "Let's worship God," a musician in the
eight-member band calls out from the stage. It's 9:30 a.m. on a
Sunday, time for the church's new family worship service. The church
started it in January as a way to help parents become stronger
spiritual leaders in their children's lives.

Jessica and Brian Fleeman no longer have to spend only part of the
worship service at Grace Presbyterian Church with their four
children. With the launch of a new family worship service, the
Fleemans and other Grace Presbyterian families can sing, pray,
worship and learn as a family for the entire service in a setting
apart from the sanctuary. "It's been a very good experience for our
family," said Jessica Fleeman, whose children are ages 1 to 9.
