Children's Ministries

Goals

• To help children know that they are loveable members of God’s family.

• To equip children with a working knowledge of the scriptures so that they may come to know Jesus as their personal savior.

• To help children develop an understanding of what it means to live a Christian life.

• To help children develop into participants in the full program of the church.

We offer the following ministries:

• Praiseland

• Infant and Toddler Nurseries

• Jacob’s Learning Ladder Preschool

• Jacob’s Adventure Club (Daycare)

• Vacation Bible School (July 19-23, 2004)

• Acolytes for Worship

Praiseland

Children’s fellowship time for friendship, music, games, art, worship, mission and snacks on Sundays, 9:30 – 10:45 a.m.

Praisland Newsletter - "Making it Connect"

 

Kids' Kingdom

A fun playtime and snacks after the children’s sermon for preschoolers through 1st grade.

 

Infant and Toddler Nurseries

8:00 – Noon each Sunday, caring adults nurture children (ages 0-2 years) while parents attend worship and Christian Education classes.  The nurseries are on the first floor near the north entrance.

 

Jacob’s Learning Ladder Enrichment Preschool (Jacob’s Web Page)

Preschool classes for children age 3-5. Five-day, three-day and two-day programs are offered.

 

Jacob’s Adventure Club

Child care offered Monday through Friday,  7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

 

Vacation Bible School, July 19-23, 2004

A week of extra fun Christian learning for kids aged three through fifth graders.

 

Acolytes (candle lighters) for Worship

All third through fifth graders are invited to participate in lighting the candles during worship on Sundays.
